It was then relocated down the street to 1000 Colleges St. where within five years it catapulted itself into a level of its own among Portuguese restaurants and its community. This has allowed the "Bairrada" name to expand by opening locations in Mississauga and St. Clair Avenue West. These locations have strengthened the upward momentum of the restaurant, which in turn has people raising an eyebrow with genuine interest towards Portuguese cuisine & culture.
